I have just figured that if I am to cool the newt tank significantly, what I may need is ice and some astrofoil. However this effect is defeated by the introduction of lighting. Is there a way to directly divert heat away from the lighting. Alternatively does anyone know of good set-ups being made without lighting?

Thorninmyside:Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation+1
