Reference- Harmless growth

A few months ago, I took my axie to the vet to get her looked at, as she had a growth that appeared when someone was taking care of her for me. She seemed fine, but to check they ran a bunch of tests and everything was fine, no infection, no cancer, nothing abnormal even after screening for rarer problems. It grew back and she is doing fine, but in case anyone has heard of this or seen something like it, it could be a good resource. It's a growth that had a fluid bubble around it.

Oh! I forgot to mention: water quality, temp, feeding are all normal for her and she's healthy and happy. The Vet said there wasn't anything to do that wasn't more harm than letting it be.

Never seen that but I know their blood is red when they are injured, it is like a build up of blood there. You can poke it if you really want although I wouldn't bother when the docs say it is not cancer or anything. I am guessing not even edema which would be clear. Overtime the axie can accidently bump into something that scratches them up and then that bulb can get caught and pop so if it eventually bumps into something that bulb would eventually pop.

Thanks for the suggestion, it's crossed my mind but I don't want to open it up to infection. Also, it's burst twice before and then built up around it again so after talking to the vet I just keep an eye on it and make sure she's healthy otherwise. It did seem to be blood when it burst.
Here's what it looked like when it burst, I took her to the sink the first time to wash out the wound with a little bit of her tank water to see it better and to make sure the blood was only from the sore.
