Regeneration in juvenile newts

Could anyone tell me how long it takes a juvenile newt (Tylototriton verrucosus) to regrow limbs? I have heard various times, from one week to three months. Is this this difference be because of age, feeding or temperature?

The animal was bitten by a sibling and is missing one leg and a few toes, but otherwise is doing fine (and now living alone!).

It is a factor of all those things (age, feeding, temperature, plus water quality, etc.).

It will grow back eventually.
 
I am not no expert but I remember seeing some staged photos for a Fire Bellied Newt and a whole arm took 7-8 weeks.... incredible.

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
