I have 10 ribbed newts in a 55 gallon. One female has laid about 300 eggs. What is the best way to remove the eggs safely ?

Its easier to remove the adults than the eggs. If you need to remove the eggs they are quite robust and will survive being moved, even in the early stages of development. If they are on plants and ornaments just remove them, if they are scattered around you can use a turkey baster to suck them up.

suck, scrape, grab, slice off. The eggs are pretty tough.

Lol thanks they are tough. They have a thick jelly around them.

If the eggs are laid on leaves (living or plastic), I just trim that part of the leaf rather than scraping the egg off. The eggs are much more valuable than plants.
