Rescue axolotls week in the fridge

We got two axolotls from a coworker who had gravel on the bottom of their tank. They didn't appear weighed down with stones, but after we found a couple in their poo, we stuck them in the fridge for the past week. Here's the result. Not any huge stones, but it adds up to a lot of rock for two little lotls.

We can't wait to have them back in the tank so we can work on getting them on a healthy diet and up to healthy weights.

Wow that IS a lot of stones. Luckily they won't have to go through that again!

Wow! Bet they feel better after that fridging .. Its sad but so easy too make such a common mistake as putting gravel down
