Revenge of the live prey!

Heres a picture of my axi called Nobby (dont ask!!)! Hes very friendly and always comes to the front of the tank to say hello. I feed him on river shrimps from the local pet shop. You can see some in the back of the photo - looks like they are chasing him but dont worry hes big enough to look after himself!!

yeah i love my axies eyes they look like sequins! They are a very unusual sort of eye! I would be interested to find out more about the structure of axie eyes because they arent like mammalian eyes at all.

. The shrimp eyes are very beady too! He's out to get him!

wow your axie looks big! mine only has small gills but he is only little (about 4 months?). Glad to hear the sand looks like the right stuff because I wasnt sure. I had bigger gravel before. Its only been in a week so it all looks clean and healthy.

HE IS MY OLDEST AXIE,SOON i WILL POST PICTURE ON THE AXIE GALLERY OF THE AXIES THAT i WORK WITH ,SOME OF THEM HAVE 16 YEARS, THEY LOOK VERY DIFFERENT.
