Roxy has fungy again

can any one help us roxy has got fungy again on her gills we give her salt baths it goes away then a week later it comes back she is in a tank on her own at the minuet but we was hoping to put her in the same tank with reo and frecks our other axis as we have bought a 4 ft fish tank so they can be togeter but just wondering if fungy is contagious cause i dont want my other two to catch it can any one help us. thanks

When the fungus is gone continue the salt baths for a week after to make sure it doesn't come back

Oh no, poor thing! You'll probably have to watch her the whole summer, I am glad in a way ours is over as it means our one gets it less during the cooler months as she isn't as stressed as the warmer ones. Our others have never got it from her when she's had it though she gets separated to a cooler place so she has less to stress about.

the only thing is her tank and water temp is perfect condition it 16 c its only just recently started geting warm over here but realy want her to make friends with rio and frecks but like i said before if i put them all in the same tank will my other kids catch it what would you do kapo or ne one. thanks.

Hi Lee missed this the other day, sorry. I would keep her separated until she's well clear of it, even if it means all summer then introduce her in when its cooler. Otherwise she may get stressed even more having the companions around (I do this with our Rox, she's just been put back in the tank in the past week - and as usual they've in their own corners backs to each other ignoring each other - as if she's always been there! )
