Are they captive bred or illegally taken from the wild? Very beautiful individuals indeed...

PS: it's Serra de Arrábida, not Sierra...

They are absolutely great looking!! This is such a nice subspecies, love the red.
 
I am also still interested if these were taken from the wild. In the past there was someone notoriously sending animals from that Serra-area around the world to anyone would could offer something in exchange. I know many were spread in Europe.
In Germany and the UK S.s. gallaica are often captive bred for sale; so there is no need to steal from the wild...just to let you know, for anyone else interested in this beautiful subspecies.
