S.s.salamandra larvae

In some places they are found year round. I counted seven specimens in this little "cave".

I wish I could just find Salamandra spp. around here. That is a nice looking larva though.

Well you can find them in the Netherlands, although very very rare but as a result of that S.salamandra and all its subspecies are illegal as pets (and no you can't get papers)
