Just curiosity getting the better of me but has anybody ever cross bred these two or seen what the offspring would look like?

I know it is better to keep the two species from cross breeding as they are different but I plan to breed my two together one time and was just wondering if anybody had any accounts of patterns the young had/what size they grew to when adults?

Thanks

A question related to the first:
the two subspecies would also cross in the wild?
Or do they have different breeding behaviour that prevents this?

I have no doubt that where the two subspecies natural range overlaps, they do produce intergrades, but have no personal experience of such.
I do,however, keep natural intergrades of Salamandra salamandra gallaica/S.s.fastuosa,from Cirruelo de Bezana,Burgos, near Ebro...Spain,which are very variable in pattern, showing a mix of both subspecies.
