This is just a curiosity question, but I've noticed several U.S.A. dealers (three on kingsnake) just recently reporting having batches of adult S.s.salamandra in stock. I was wondering if this is typically the season for wildcaught specimens to arrive in the states? I am also guessing these are probably all from the same exporter in the Ukraine (is that the legal country right now?) I've been a caudate enthusiast my whole life but am only recently getting more serious about it, so I'm just trying to learn about the trade for these animals and how it works. I've bought 4 adults from Underground Reptiles that arrive tomorrow, and have 2 captive bred juveniles (all S.s.salamandra) that I've been really enjoying.
