My old tiger salamander, on top of other problems, now is bleeding on his back/ tail . I think the cause might have been the calcium gluconate I was applying for mbd. I stopped doing that a week ago and there is still .blood. Usually the bloody spots heal and new ones appear. When he moves around the blood comes out more. Can anyone shed any light on this from previous experiences? My other thought are cracked winter skin from lack of humidity or a skin infection. His shedding is also very irregular and splotchy.
