Salamanders/Newts Identification

So...I found these salamanders/newts by the river in the province of Québec, Canada and I have no idea what kind of salamanders/newts they are...I can't even tell if they are newts or salamanders... First time trying to keep some.

Should I feed them crickets and such? Mealworms? Nightcrawlers?

They appear to be dusky salamanders, but I am unsure of what species of dusky salamanders. I would have isopods, earthworms, and other various inverts in the tank for hunting. Small crickets may be eaten and possibly fruitflies. This article is more for the larger species but it can help:
