SALT BATHS???????

Hi My axie has a bit of fungus on her lings, which may be due to her peeling her skin about a week ago. I have heard one of the best cures is to put them in a salt bath. I just wanted to know how much salt to how much water and also if there is any specific type of salt to use? Also what is the best way to handle them to get them out the tank?
