On Saturday May 3rd I will be attending the Seattle Metro Reptile Expo. I am going to bring some P. Waltl eggs with me if I have some at the time. So will anyone here be attending?

I will! :D

Thank goodness your going, because I haven't seen anybody on the vendor listing who seem to be selling amphibians. And I am really planning on buying some phibs, so if your the only one there selling phibs, well, I might be a customer ;)

See you there!

I will not be vending this time because the waltl will not be morphed yet. I did talk to some vendors who I will be bringing eggs for though :D

So your aren't going to bring anything? Or your not going to be bringing morphs? Or your not going to be vending anything but are going to be bringing eggs? Because if you were selling eggs i might get some.

What species of eggs are they bringing?! T. verr....?.......

I am going to set up sales ahead of time with some people. The eggs are from the same P. waltl pair. If you want to buy some then tell me ahead of time. So I will not be vending.

It was a great show! Got 2 baby fire salamanders and 1 marbled newt :D ImageUploadedByTapatalk1399146525.722049.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1399146540.200997.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1399146560.445833.jpg

Been looking for marbleds, so if you know who the source was, I'd be interested in contacting them!

The vendor said he didn't remember. He told me that he just picked it up at a show a year ago. Sorry, I am still looking for 2 more.

I think I got some fire sals from the same vendor. Was he the guy with the large bugs crawling all over him? I got two for $50. Just put them in their tank.

And he had a marbled newt? I didn't see any. And I am really surprised he had one cause they are illegal. How many did he have? I kind of cant believe that they expo let him sell illegal species? Lucky you I guess :p

If we are talking about the same vendor ( which we probably are because he was the only one o saw selling fire sals ) then his vendor name was Marcs Geckos. I got his card. Though the containers yours are in are different than mine, mine were in small round containers.

I thought I might have seen you there Evan, but am not sure. The guy I saw had short curly hair, so I don't know.

I can wait until the next one!

Heres mine :D You can see that one is more yellow and the other is more orange. The one that is more yellow is also a little bigger.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
