Hey guys,
My female laid eggs three weeks ago exactly today, and this morning I woke up to find more eggs!
I'll be separating her and my male from now on, but I'm just wondering how stressful it is on her to be laying eggs close together like that? :(
I love her and really don't want her to get sick or stressed (or end up dying) as a result of this..
Any info or reassurance would help! ♥️
Here she is:

This is stressful, so i would seperate. However, i had the same thing happen last year and my female is fine.

This generally occurs with younger females, they grow out of it. If she lays again soon I would seperate the sexes to give her a break. Give her plenty of food to recover from laying, her body will be prioritising egg production and she will need more food than usual to stay healthy.

What was the temperature of the water in the tank where shes lives?

She's a lovely looking axolotl, and it sounds as if she will be fine with just a bit of rest and some extra food.
Separating them is the best way to avoid this happening again while she is resting.
