Gandalf the Grey's limb is growing longer, by the day
Thank you to everyone here who helped me when he lost his limb last month. I could use a bit more advice. Gandalf is still living separately, I am changing his water every 2 days and adding furan-2. He is happily eating 2 earthworms per day (morning/evening) and his body has filled out nicely. Gandalf is alert and very active.
1) when would you advise he return to live with his brother? they share a 45 gallon divided tank with their sisters.
2) do axos need to go through a re-introduction period or can I just combine them instantly? they are hatch mates but have been separated for a month.
3) now that the limb is regrowing, should I continue to add furan-2 to the water?
4) is 2 earthworms per day a good amount for an adult axo? (they are trout worms, long but thinner than nightcrawlers)
Any other advice, feel free to comment and thank you.
