Hello could anyone give me a bit of information, I am in the UK and have a guy in Turkey who wants to purchase some Axolotl eggs from me. Now I’ve never shipped or even thought about it before so not sure if its a good idea. Is it do-able? and any good shipping companies out there?
I'm reluctant to ship but if others have done it without problems I’ll consider.
Thanks in advance :)

You can ship eggs in plastic bottles filled with water with an air pocket at the top of the bottle which can then be packed into a cardboard box with bubble wrap. Or in plastic fish bags again with an air pocket, then packed into a polystyrene container then packed into a cardboard box with bubble wrap. I believe there are couriers that specifically deal with transport of animals, but I think it is legal to ship eggs by standard postal companies, though I'm not sure how trust worthy they would be,.

I highly doubt it is legal to post to Turkey, and the postage costs would be high.

I wouldn't both to sell outside the UK.

Thank you, I already post within the UK and have been asked about shipping to America and a few places before but always said no, Thought I might find out the information regarding shipping over seas as people keep asking.
Think i'll stick to saying no :)

Ahh well I do not have any information on shipping overseas other than it is costly and I believe you have to aquire certain permission/paper work. Hopefully someone else with international shipping experience can give you some more information. xxIanxx may be able to help
