CAn an axolotl survive from being cut from body back legs area? its still attached but for sure it's just hanging there. the little guy is still alive but i was wondering if he has a chance or if i should end his suffering,

It probably depends on the extent of the damage, and whether anything necessary for daily functioning was damaged. Sounds like he may have lost the last part of the digestive tract, if the abdomen was opened. But I had one lose both front legs, half a back leg, 2 gills and 2/3 of his tail to an aggressive tank mate while my pet sitter was watching the troops, and he healed up and regenerated just fine.
