Long story short, bought sand, was told it didnt contain rocks, checked thoroughly and appeared so, washed added to tank, axolotl started eating sand, took sand out. Two days ago she threw up her bloodworms, and sand, today there where three small rocks in her tank. Do i leave her be or is it time to fridge?

First axolotl in ten years, just signed up for help, any advice guys!!!! So worried

Probably been posted before, i did search, but i want advice asap for her sake

Regards Brendon

Do the 'rocks' look like they would be uncomfortable to pass, or are they small and smooth? And how big is your axie?
Overnight friding is great for clearing out pebbles/gravel, but if the stones are too big it can cause more problems. If they are small and smooth they can be passed without incident.
If you can post pics of your axie and the stones it would help.
