And for that you wish death upon all my axolotl and my fish?
I'm Selling axolotl on eBay and I keep all my axie in top health with constant monitoring , I can't effort bad health. If something were to happen on my watch , I have to send full refund as the eBay policy requires. I use my cleaning crew for keeping my axie in good health not the opposite . And I don't mix species . Only have them in for the temporary cleaning business. That is your assumption that I did. Plus the whole story was after all that splash that my goldfish did, my living room floor was completely soaked I ended up have replace the carpet. So that was the last time I keep the babies in tank while I letting the gold fish in for cleaning up . That's why I was telling that story, I really told that story cause it was musing , not to make a political statement.

The whole point is, the mixing of species with axolotls should never happen.. not even "for temporary cleaning purposes", every responsible owner knows that.
Any goldfish has the capability to attack an axolotl and nip at it - how do you think goldfish attack each other or defend themselves? I've had very aggressive fancies who do a number on each other, killer teeth not included ;).
Axolotls don't have teeth (just rudimentary ones for holding) and I'm pretty sure they can damage each other extremely well. I've rescued an axolotl who's lived through that and can tell the tale!
Also goldfish aren't good cleaners.. they don't suck poop up they spit it out and create a whole load of mess themselves. Not to mention the risk of transferring any parasites etc that the goldfish may have. ?

I totally agree on the mess gold fish made sometime , i only send them in to eat uneaten food during water change or cycling cause they are fast eater especially left over pellet . And can withstand problem water . If I have know there will be this much people against it I wouldn't ever bring it up cause I haven't use the goldfish for many years since the tanks are clean and the cycling is perfect.

I don't support idea of keeping fish with axie not even as the feeder purpose . I agree with parasite and decease fish can bring . If thoughtlessness of telling the truth of my one time mistake was even more of a mistaken mentioning I truly apologize for the problem I cause. But that doesn't mean that I don't care about my axolotl well being , I love my axies and would kill my self before I even harms them in anyway possible.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
