Hi, I have some omega one shrimp pellets (the first ingredient is salmon along with herring and shrimp) and I was wondering if its okay to feed to a axolotis?Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, lionfish

Hello there, I'm a pretty new axolotl keeper (only been a week since I got my axo) and freeze dried brine shrimp pellet is the favorite choice of my axolotl.(after the earthworms of course) As far as I know, both shrimps and pellets are good choices in axolotl diet!

Any soft sinking carnivore pellet is fine. Hard pellets can be a little more difficult for them to handle. Earthworms are always the food of choice and offer the best nutritional value for axolotls. I use pellets and repashy grub pie as more of a treat than anything, though a varied diet is healthy for them.
