Hey- my 3 and a half month old axi's were doing awesome, growing well and eating like little champs- and 3 days ago one of my smaller ones died, then today the other. I have one left- a HUGE guy- over 2 inches long already- who still seems ok. Tank has a filter, air stone, hiding places, and i do about 30% water changes at the very least 3 times a week- the water I put in the tank is not chlorinated, no other chemicals present. The only difference recently is i added mysis shrimp (frozen-from a specialty exotic fish store where I buy all of my frozen food from- has a great local reputation) about 5 days ago... I did a full water change- and boiled tank items (threw away things i didn't boil). I gradually introduced the new water tonight to the remaining guy so i wouldn't totally shock his system- only a 10 gallon tank, was upgrading to a 30 this weekend :(. Anything else I can do to help my remaining guy? Since I'm going on the assumption that the shrimp could be a culprit, I threw it away- but should i feed him his usual bloodworms or not feed at all for tonight? He ate last night (both the shrimp and the worms). Any help is appreciated, I am mortified about my little two- but I want to focus on keeping little Ed alive and well right now. Thank you!

It's hard to say. I imagine the mysis fouled the water, but if you're doing water changes regularly...

Keep checking your water and doing water changes as needed.
