Sick??

Actually, looking back at the picture she looks alot like my little Miles. He has always been much skinnier than Jacqui was. I read somewhere that the larger animals in the tank give off hormones or something in the water to keep the smaller ones small, so it is probably the best thing to separate them hey so she can get strong again and give the other a run for his money!
 
There is 3 other axies in the tank with her that are bigger than her, I have never heard about hormones to keep small axies small though. Do you know where you read that?
 
On one of the many wonderful threads here....I will do a little digging and see if I can find it

Okay, did some digging but couldn't find it anywhere! (its always the way) But i am pretty sure that when doing some reading on Miles's size I came across that little gem. I guess it makes sense...keeping down competition and stuff
Has anyone else heard of this?
 
9 days on and she is still as skinny. She stays in the fridge and gets daily water changes. She seems to be eating ok, but not putting on the weight. Idea's anyone?
