I have been doing research on Tiger/Spotted salamanders and I was wondering what the best feeders were, how often to feed it, and how many of the feeders to feed at a time, I posted this in the general chat accidentally but I thought here would get some more results as well, Thank You!

I have two blue spotted sallies that are on earthworms exclusively and seem to be chubby and happy. Other options you can try are waxworks, crickets, hornworms. Variety is best but mine don't care for any of those. Stay away from mealworms. They are technically "okay" but not very nutritious.

I have a 30 year old tiger salamander and am wondering if they can eat stink bugs/beatles? We have so many in our area and they are a good size. But if they stink when squished is that bad for my Spot?

I’d stick with worms I’m not a it e about stink bugs but they smell foul and likely don’t taste that great nor have a great nutrition

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
