Siphon???.

Hi everyone.

First, sorry about my english...is very bad.

I want to know how to build a siphon to clean the bottom of the tank.
Is there any site where I can see a picture or scheme of that?.
Do I need an electric water bomb?

Thanks to all...it's a little hard to read all in english for me, but this forum is the BEST HELP that I found!.

To make a siphon, you need just one thing: a piece of plastic tube. Some siphons have "extra features" - a bulb to start the water flow, or a big intake end to rinse gravel - but these extra features are not essential.

My tip - use the out flow of your filter to start the syphon.

You don't get nasty water in your mouth that way!
