I suppose I should also keep the ol' creative side up, and certainly have a lot of it planned - work keeps getting in the way though. Pfft.

Todays little adventure:

Firstly, burn a silk screen with a repeating pattern of, oh, I dunno, an axolotl or sommat. Wash it out, wait impatiently for it to dry:



Rack it up:



PULL:



Make a spare or two:



CONSTRUCT:




This is why I have hands which are now mostly orange and covered in glue (which I just realised I hadn't cleaned off the frame of the change purse before I took eager photos.

Now if only I actually had some cash to put in it...

Morrison, my eleven yr old Davy has a best friend Hudson. He and his brother Houston play the sax... Wonder if I could afford a print of your saxolotl? Their Mom is a good friend of mine as well

I sometimes make "batiks" of sugar gliders... I will have to try my hand at an axolotl batik and post the results

Here's something I made recently to keep this thread alive.

Remember the tattooed axolotl I made a few years ago? I made a version 2 because I hated the first one. I couldn't find it anymore so I made a version 2.2. And decided to make a colored and black & white version. I actually drew them twice and colored them with markers. On A5 paper, so it's pretty huge as well.

But it's done, finally:

Usually I draw anime styled stuff and am good at that but I decided to draw Saskia and wasn't so good at it. lol but I added the guts! That counts right?

This is Saskia thinking she is skydiving and that the blue is the sky and the brown is the earth when in reality the blue is the water and the earth is the sand in her own tank. Sage is hiding in his plants thinking "uh huh sure. We never left the tank!." lol
