One of my juveniles has got something wrong with him that i have never seen before in over 10 years ok keeping an breeding Axies, parts of his body are literally melting away
there is no fungus at all, from what I can see his skin is just melting he's not been nipped or damaged skin on anything, as he's kept on his own an there's nothing that could cut him, water is changed 20% every week an parameters are all as they should be for Axies, but his skin seems to just be melting away it started on his tail, then on his back leg an it's just getting worse his back legs peeled away to the bone in a day an now I can see even the bones themselves are melting to....his skin is very pink an inflamed so I'm dubious of salt baths as it may cause more truma than good in this case I'm thinking it's an infection but I've never seen something like this ... Can anyone help I'll upload pics now
