Small piece of damage to tail :(

Hi should i be worried about my axis tail she has a small slither thats come of but is still attached she seems happy enough eating and swiming all over the place just not sure weather to leave her and see what happens ive added a pic just not sure if its worked

My axolotl had a similar thing happen, though it was a big chunk/flap on her tail. I would make sure the water is nice and cool, and keep an eye out for fungus and infection. The part missing from Rosie's tail is healing nicely, so I'm sure your axie's tail will heal soon too. Their power of regeneration is amazing

I wouldn't be too worried, my guy Alec had the same thing and his tail is fine. He still has a little chunk out of the bottom of his tail but he seems happy enough and it doesn't look red or anything. Just keep it's water clean and make sure it doesn't get any fluffy growth.
