Here are some more pics so you can see if they are healthy size.
I also managed to take pics of Bubbles trying to nip Peeky but she is too fast!

How old are your axies one of them looks similar size to ours.

I'm Sorry I have no Idea how old they are they are about 5 inches long, Im calling new years day there birthday but I have no Idea sorry

We were told ours is about 4 months old.

I love the gills on your albino. They look really big!

Yes her gills are massive she cant hold them up!I think all Axolotl have there own individual charm's that is hers.

they are both the same length the albino is a bit thicker is all, but the smaller one is more aggressive so I am not too worried by the difference

Where did you get your Axolotl Wendy? I see you are from the UK

They have had a rough week, but what does not kill you.......

Thank you for the comments. I will let them know they have fans!

Hi Tom

We got our axie from Dobbies. My daughter who is at college saw one in the reptile house and decided she wanted one. We went to Dobbies not with the intention of getting one but there was one there and we brought him. We picked him up week after we set tank etc up.

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
