so i got some eggs and have researched pretty much everything i can find in books and on the net about spotted saly breeding and larvae care but I was hoping some of u could give me some first hand pointers that u experienced to keep the little guys as healthy as possible.

yes i have blackworm access but i also have access to newly hatched brine shrimp lots of daphnia infested pond water(i just got rid of the more predatorial insects...damn dragonfly larvae and those big ••• beetles) Everyone says blackworms are the best way to go but if u have any other suggestions im all ears

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
