Spring in Germany

Hi all,
yesterday evening I went out to watch the local amphibians migrate to their ponds.
Temperatures were between 8 and 9°C and it was slightly raining.
The pictures (sorry for the quality; it was quite dark ) were taken on a fence that keeps the amphibians away from the street and some of them were taken in the amphibian-tunnel under the street.

All in all I think I was quite successful

Lissotriton vulgaris

Mesotriton alpestris females

M. alpestris male

I was hoping to find one of these

Rana dalmatina

And of course: Bufo bufo

A bright and large alpestris female. It was moving quite fast

I think this one is a cristatus female

The same individual with a L.vulgaris

I'll try to take some pictures of the "amphibian-fence" these days.

Wow, great success! Can I ask how long those L. vulgaris were?
