Spring time love is in the air.

It's Spring again and that means its time to breed. Heres a few pics of what two little frogs left behind in the tank last night and today. Eggs! At least seven egg sacs. They were bound together for a long time and all the eggs are fertile. I just don't know what species of frog this is. I only have pics of one of the frogs. The other one is hiding. I am going to have a lot of tadpoles. I also found some of what I believe are Pickerel Frog eggs.

It looks like a chorus frog. Maybe an Upland Chorus Frog.

Hi Cameron, those photos are only slightly over the size limit for uploading which suggests to me they have been resized already (unless you used a camera phone or really old camera to take them).

Okay. I did not resize them and my computer is acting weird so I can't resize them properly.

An upland chorus frog is the only similar frog i your area. So thats probably what it is. Good luck with the eggs.

They have already hatched today! The tadpoles are everywhere and have a huge supply of algea.
