Hi all,
Got 3 adult axies in a 4ft tank, except they always hang out on the left side only! They seem happy enough with it, getting nice and close to each other but just wondered why this might be?
At first I thought a lack of cover from light so I made a few caves for them down the other end.. Investigated and then ignored, to my dismay after spending hours sorting out the slate and glueing it all together :p.. Don't think it's a water quality of flow rate issue as I have two sponge filters placed at equal distances from the centre towards the end of each side..
Thought it might be the vibration from the air pump being up that end but swapped that over and they still haven't budged! Anyone had this before?
Thanks

Are there any decorations on that side? My axie is usually on the left side of her tank because her favorite plant is there. But if you've already moved your filters around and what not to make sure its not the vibration or anything, and they don't seem stressed, I wouldn't worry about it.

My axolotls stay mostly on one side as well but because the side they favour has more spots to hide out.
