Strange Occurrence

I'm probably being a bit paranoid. Just worried.
I was delighted to finally see Char (male C. orientalis) hunting blackworms on his own, when I saw him cough some up. I know this isn't uncommon, but when I looked closer, I could've sworn that there was a blackworm hanging out of his nose. He kept trying to bite at it, and eventually I pulled the worm out with feeding tongs. I might've been imagining things, but you never know. Just wondering if this could be potentially dangerous. He wandered off normally afterwards. The good news is that he appears to weigh about the right amount, finally.

That is a weird story, but I think just an anomalous occurrence. I wouldn't worry about it but keep an eye out for a recurrence, and just do the same thing if it happens again.

I´ve seen it happen with grindal worms and the like. Other than some temporal discomfort for the newt, it´s not an issue at all.
