Are these veins on my albino a sign of stress or just natural veins, I recently had a filter that had too strong of a flow but I switched it out so the flow is good now. The temperature is at a steady 16-17 degrees celcius. My params are perfect. She eats half a night crawler every few days and pellets on the days in vetween. She's showing no other signs of stress. But her gills are in weird directions, she's always been that way but I don't know what its from.

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
