Hey all,
I recently got a new juvenile axie that is displaying some signs of stress (curled gills/tail). I was wondering if there is anything I can do to help her settle in, or just give her time?

Is the tank cycled? What are the parameters for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, PH and temperature? Is there a strong current from the filter or lights that may be stressing her out?

My PH, ammonia/nitrate/nitrite are all good, tank is cycled, and water flow is minimal. Sorry if I wasn't clear, this is how she arrived to me from her last home. She is also missing two toes on one of her front feet. My two existing axies in the tank are doing great. I was wondering if there was anything extra I could do to make her feel happier in her new home or if I just should leave her to settle in on her own.

It is most likely she is just getting used to her new home and will settle in time. Keep on top of water quality and keep the tank cool, make sure there are places she can hide. Offer her food as per normal. Other than that, I would just give her time to settle. Monitor her and see how she goes :)
