Substrate help...again lol

Hey I kind of already asked this question and someone answered it but I want other people's opinions,so what substrate is great for live terristrial plants and that it won't harm salamander's.

A mix of cocofiber and potting soil(fertilizer free)

Top soil, not potting soil.

Potting soil often contains things like perlite and vermiculite, which should be avoided.
