Hello. So a couple of days ago I cleaned my two, 6 year old (what I thought to be female) axolotls’ tank and discovered approximately 30 or so eggs! I salvaged as many as I could and have kept them in a small container. It’s been about 3 days and some went cloudy coloured and looked “empty” inside. I discarded these this morning and left now with about 11 or so eggs that potentially look ok? First of all - is it common for a Axolotl to produce eggs unfertilised ? Especially after 6 years of nothing? If these are fertilised eggs, can someone tell me if the remainder look ok by my photo ? Bit confused as to how long to leave them there and when I should be noticing a change. There are some dark ones and then some dark with now white colouring on the outside which I don’t know whether is because they’re going bad or they’re meant to go through this process.
Thank you!
