Swollen abdomen on african clawed frog

My ACF made a pig of herself yesterday on four guppies, she now has a severely distended abdomen( ive discounted bloat as its only her belly which is swollen) and was floating in her tank, only sand in her tank so she hasnt swallowed any pebbles, ive placed her in a bucket with some salt in. Is there anything else i can do for her?

Never rely with them but I would suggest lowering its temperature, because it tends to make them "poop". Just a suggestion.

Is it possible to post a picture?

Also, for a salt bath - what kind of salt did you use, how much salt, how many gallons of water and for how long did you leave the frog in..


it should also be asked - where did you get guppies from? Were they home raised and quarantined, pet store bought and quarantined or just bought from the store and added in?
