I scanned some pics of pictures recently shown me by Mr. Sakuma of T.taliangensis and several other Tylototriton species that he has regularly bred, which he has permitted me to share.

Great pics,
You wouldn't happen to have any info on how to get these guys to do that would ya? I've got a group of six currently and would love to get these guys to breed but have no idea what they require. Any help is appreciated.

Well, I knew I would get that question, but truth be told, I don't have an answer. I'll be picking Mr. Sakuma's brains in the coming months and years, and sharing with ya'll whatever it is I learn.

Stay tuned for some breeding pics of T.shanjing, T.kweichowensis and E.andersoni...

How much water does he keep in the set up. 50/50 with deep water or shallow water?

how big are they when they morph-can you tell us that much? do you know if they are finicky babies or pigs like verrucous?

Mike, I seem to recall him saying something about the water should be at least as deep as the newt is long, and also as wide. I'd have to check though. Same goes for what Paris asked: I'd have to check ;)
