T.torosa shedding skin question

Does T.torosa shed right before starting the aquatic phase? Mine just started to congregate towards the water and I have noticed a couple of skins in the water portion.

From what I have read up on it they continue to shed during the aquatic stage as well as before it. I hope someone who has actual experience with the species can advise you better.
