verrucosus? It was sold as "Mandarin Salamander". Heres a clearer picture of it, hopefully it will yield a more positive result.

It looks like a light form of verrucosus, not shanjing.

You should probably get a few more from the same import if possible, as there are so mamny forms, the next lot may be different

It seems to be more terrestrial than aquatic though. Do you think I could force it to adapt to a near 100% aquatic environment? I managed to make my "terrestrial" C orientalis become aquatic by removing all land, which did make it aquatic after a day only. If it is a verrucosus it would be ok right? I have an empty tank.. and I assume an aquatic environment will be healthier since the filter could maintain good water quality.
