I've read about limb & gill regeneration. Does this hold true for tails as well? One of mine got the tip of his tail nipped off by a tank mate during feeding.

yes the tail will regenerate to. i read in a book that they can grow two tails:S.

I have had two Axies with minor nicks to the top of the tail. The first Axie grew most of the nick out and only had a small ridge remaining. The second is my Axie who I have now, I have been watching his regenerate over the past couple of weeks. It is a slow process!
