Hi, just wondering what would be the best way to modify a tank lid that doesn't fit fully over the tank? My new-ish tank has a lid that has about 5cm gaps length wise down both sides, which is good for feeding, because I don't have to lift the lid, I can just drop pellets down to the little bugger. But i've noticed a fine layer of what I'm assuming is dust on the water top.
I clean it up when I can, but I'd rather have a fix for the lid. So, any ideas?

Also, can the dust present a hazard to the little guy? Thanks.

Lots of people use mesh lids. Im sure some dust can get in there as well. That's also just a guess nothing to be concrete.

Bro, put a towel over the lid till you find a lid that fits... I wouldn't worry too much about the dust, I'd worry more about the other airborne pollutants that are falling in your tank....
