Just a few shots of a Taricha Granulosa in study. The willing, and vain, model is Buck. Here he is in striking side-pose on a lilypad (his left side seems to be his best). And last, but not least, Buck enjoying his Spongebob jellyfish. (Can anyone tell my why these newts are sometimes called Roughskin newts? -

Pam, he's gorgeous. I have to think all T. grans are of the Grandiose subspecies, as my pretty little girl is always doing things to make you know that she's better than you!

If you run across anyone with another T. grans, I'm definately looking for another one.
