Hi herpers,

justsome days ago I saw the first mating of the season of Taricha t. sierrae. A pretty smale male on a adult female.

Very nice! Is it your first time with this subspecies?
What other Taricha do you breed?

The Tarichas in the wild are starting to come out now as well here in California. The season has started.

but I will believe in success only after I found the first eggs (and they are fertile). This is just the first step and I am not shure how potent the young male is.
I will keep you posted.
@jesper I regularily breed T.granulosa, but so far no breeding of T.torosa has been seen in the recent years in Europe.
