Temperature for C. ensicauda larvae

I have some C. ensicauda larvae. They started hatching about 2 weeks ago, but they don't seem to be eating much. I'm concerned that maybe the temperature in the room is too cold for them; it's about 60F (15C). They were slow to hatch, and I wonder if this is too cold for this species.

I kept my popei larvae between 65-70f. They ate well and i raised 54 from 57.I found them slow at fist to grow, same when they came out of the water , but once establishrd no problems.I have babies and eggs at the moment and feed daphnia that i collect every other day from ponds behind my house(50 METRES FROM BACK GATE!)

I would definately keep them at least 65. They don't tolerate cold as much as most other species. I even alow my adults to reach 80 in the summer.

Hy Aaron,

15°C ist to cold for very young C.e. Give them 18 °C at minimal, better 20°C.
