The Axolotl Names Thread

My axie is called Zora. Everytime I saw the people in Zelda I thought of Axies.

The cat is officially Bella, but Monster and Devils Spawn work as well. Similarly calling out the general word of food or opening the fridge brings her running also.

Some of my fish have names; Arrow, Lunar, Solar (the blackmoor now turning gold, wonder if it was the name?) Ares (fighter fish) and Survivor (it was the only fish to survive out of its 16 mates)

My first fish I named Murder, a day after I brought it home it ate my snail alive. Now my blackmoor is turning Gold after I named it Solar (Gold/Sun) I'm starting to think what you name animals counts! :p
 
Sunny was named Sunny due to my love of a orange frozen ice block type thing that are called Sunny Boys :)

Osiris - golden female (my avatar)
Anubis - GFP melanoid male
Imotep - wildtype female
Horus - Leucistic female
Isis - leucistic female
Cuaxolotl (Cool) - GFP wild male
Atlaua (Lalu) - leucistic male
Khonsu - albino male
Mextli - wild male

I'd get a hand cramp before I finished naming everyone else! ;)

I loved those things as a kid.... you don't see them around any more. Now that I think about it Goldies are almost the exact same colour (or at least the colour I remember them being)

Scott won't let me call one Jemaine or Bret! Said I was allowed to call one Murray though!

Tell you what, Albi does leave me jellybeans in the tank. They aren't all the colours of the rainbow though ;)

mine are Spongebob and Squidward, were originally going to be George and Lottie but then i bought them hideouts which were spongebob themed and they became spongebob and squidward but I tend to call the spongie and sqidy

lol, so cute! Scott calls Chester 'Molester' (after he tried to make eggs with poor Roscoe) and Albi 'Albisaurus'.
 
My keeper ones are named Bonnie (leucistic), Clyde (wildtype), Sid (leucistic), Nancy (leucistic), Laverne (golden) and Shirley (golden).... although I think that Laverne is a he... so that may have to change to Lenny in the near future
 
Of axolotls, I have Thad (named so because his back legs are deformed, reminding me of the children of thalidomide. MAY BE DISTURBING TO SOME VIEWERS!).

I recently euthanized Blue (melanoid) and my spunky eyeless, Momma due to some unknown illness.

I've got 3 tiger salamanders: Mario, Luigi, and Toadstool.

One Jefferson's salamander: Weezie (get it, Weezie Jefferson? hahaha). BTW: This is the first salamander I ever kept. Got her as an adult, and that was 10 years ago. She's a very... rubenesque lady.

And one roughskinned newt, Einstein (as in, She's no Einstein. Cute, but not the brightest crayon in the box).

Snakes, I have Spider Snake and Lumpy (who was injured by a previous owner, poor baby), both ball pythons; Peach (eastern milksnake); and Bonnie and Clyde, my black ratsnakes.

Cats: I have Al (she lives with my mom); Patches, Moose, and Sidewalk.

Humans: I have Cale, Callie, and Dylan. And I took in a stray, JJ (he was my hubby's roommate before we moved in together, and seems to be following us around the country).

Freya is my leucistic female,Hella my dark female and my golden albino doesnt have a name yet! (think he's a boy btw)

Than my forestcat is named Lau (kid couldnt say miauw yet so...) but responds to Satan and all other nasty words when hes destroying the house again..
My 2 females cats are Kitana and Sheila (yes my husband watched to much mortal combat)
My big red male cat is Ramses and listens to fat boy as well! Dikkie dik in dutch btw :p

Than the little frog is called Ed.
A big shrimp is called Harry and all the fish are called fish 1 till way to many (any1 want some guppies???)

I think Mekkha might be right. Wooper looks much more like an Axolotl than Mudkip.

From what I read (and I know you can't trust everything you read online, so take this with a grain of salt) in Japan axolotls are called wooper looper. Thus Wooper the pokemon. I think Mudkip is based loosely off of mudskippers.
 
My nameless female axie is now called "Frangipane" :D
