Hi there.
I've been looking to get some live plants/moss for my paddletail's 100% aquatic tank and my firebelly's 75/25. I'm also in the market for woods and natural hiding spots. This is because I've converted my paddletail's tank from a gravel base to bare-bottom, where base-weighted artificial plants can no longer be buried, so I need an alternative, and I'd like to go with live. The same goes for my FB, who will be getting a bare-bottom tank soon as well.
I've heard that java moss is great for caudates, and I'm trying to get a hold of some (if anybody's selling, let me know), but I also want other varieties. The problem is, I'm not sure which are suitable for FBs/paddletails, which aren't, preparation methods for live plants, lighting needs, et cetera.
Is there a list of appropriate woods and/or live plants on the site somewhere that I've missed? Or could someone compile one for me? Even a quick list would be great. Thanks in advance.
